Rain and Tears

Rain and Tears   이곡은 그리이스  출신의 3인조 남성밴드인아폴로디테스 챠일드의 1970년 작품이며, 이밴드는 1968년 부터 1972년 까지 활동했었다. 아폴로디테는 그리스 신화에 등장하는 사랑과 미의 여신이다.   키보드로 유명한  반젤리스( Vangelis)와 기타리스트 데미스 루소스 (Demis  Roussos ; 이집트 태생),  드럼의 루카스 시드라스(Lucas Sideras)가 활동했던 밴드이며, 'Rain and Tears' 의 성공과 더불어 "End of the World" (데뷔 싱글과 앨범 타이틀 곡), "It's Five O'Clock"(두 번째 앨범 타이틀곡), "Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall' 그리고 그외에  'I Want to Live', 'Marie Jolie' 등의 히트곡을 연달아 내었었다..**   Rain and Tears / Aphrodite's Child    Rain and tears are the same but in the sun You've got to play the game When you cry in winter time You can't pretend It's nothing but the rain How many times I've seen tears coming from your blue eyes Rain and tears are the same but in the sun You've got to play the game Give me a glance of love I need an answer love Rain and tears in the sun But in your heart you feel the rainbow waves Rain or tears both are the same But in my heart There'll never be a star Rain and tears are the same But in the sun you'vve got to play the game     비와 눈물  빗물과 눈물은 서로 같은거에요. 하지만 태양빛 아래선 눈물을 빗물인척 속일순 없죠 겨울에 당신이 눈물 흘릴 때 그것이 단지 빗물인 것 처럼 그런척 할 수는 없는거에요. 그동안 내가 얼마나 많이 보아왔었나요 당신의 그 푸른 눈에서 흐르는 눈물을 빗물과 눈물은 서로 같은거에요 하지만 태양빛 아래선 눈물을 빗물인척 속일순 없죠 날 사랑으로 바라봐 주세요 난 대답이 필요해요 태양빛 아래서의 눈물과 빗물 하지만 당신은 당신의 마음속에서 무지개 물결을 느끼고 있죠 눈물과 빗물은 둘다 보여지는 것 내 마음속엔 태양빛이라곤 없기 때문이죠 빗물과 눈물은 결국 같은 것 하지만 태양 빛 아래에선 눈물을 빗물인척 속일순 없죠.   Rain and Tears
